Ankur Scientific is one of the global pioneers in the gasification process and has been at the forefront of research and development into energy technology solutions for more than 30 years. Founded by internationally acclaimed technocrat, Dr B.C. Jain. Ankur designs, develops and manufactures bespoke ‘waste to energy’ systems to suit a wide range of industries and businesses and, to date, has installed over 1,000 award-winning systems worldwide.
From its purpose-built site in Western India, Ankur operates the largest gasification facility in the world, including a fully equipped in-house manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art plant and machinery, full testing equipment for feedstock and gas composition, and R&D laboratories, ensuring design, development, manufacture, installation and servicing is carried out in-house.
Approved by the Government of India, the laboratory is staffed by more than 20 specialists working in Research & Development and Design, and carries out numerous R&D projects with the Government of India and international customers.
Before dispatch, every system is subject to rigorous testing procedures, including hot testing. The laboratories contain ten test beds for testing gasifiers from 10 kgs up to 2,000 kgs per hour, and, if required, customers can send biomass or other feedstock for testing.
